Mission Statement

We operate a game development club
For the creation of strong bonds and lasting friendships between majors
For the experimentation of new ideas in game design
For the better understanding of ourselves within the production process
We believe this experience can better prepare us for our future

Who Are We?

We are a group of artists, programmers, and designers at Cogswell Polytechnical College who share a passion for the development and production of computer and video games. As a group, we meet regularly after class to hone our skills and gain experience by experimenting with tools, engines, and techniques. Every term we test our skills by holding events like a Game In A Day, Game In A Month and a 3-Day Game Challenge in order to become more efficient at rapidly prototyping games and effectively communicating our ideas with others.

As a club, we learn how to:

  • Work in and manage teams
  • Import our own models, animations, and textures into game engines
  • Get ideas that are floating around in our heads on paper
  • Refine our ideas and practice good game design techniques
  • Play test our game projects
  • Get the support to begin a project independently
  • Give constructive and critical feedback to others
  • Deal with problems as they come

We are here to be an archive of student games Cogswell College produces and a resource to insure there are many more to come.
